The phrase of Paul Klee encapsulates part of his poetics and translates aesthetically in the style of graffiti that the artist employs in the painting 'Fish Magic' of 1925.
The surface of the painting is dark, an unformed backdrop; like before the explosion and creation of life that was the Big Bang: at the beginning, there was darkness. The darkness is the product from the unconscious. It is hidden beneath the surface of things and of us that is difficult to discern and comprehend, and appears to be a mystery. Knowing our unconscious, like the mysteries of life is a difficult, but not impossible feat, a heroic challenge that many of us are not ready to face. The light of the moon shines in the darkness
Klee's magical fish don't claim to be true, but only light that illuminates darkness. They are inhabitants of the dark, creatures of the subconscious. The artist scratches into the surface of unconscious as well as the canvas, underneath which are hidden, but vibrant figures, plants, colours, shapes and visions. The purpose of this process is vital and healing and demonstrates that, deep in the depths of the sea and dark darkness, there are tiny shimmering creatures which stir the waters as they follow currents. Fish are dreams, stories and stories, flashes of ideas and dreams that emerge from the darkness. They are games that wallow in the density of existence They are vibrant fantasy, childlike, and impulsive that subconsciously or consciously steer people's hopes and actions.
Rare and valuable fish
Are these fishes to be believed or not? Are they esoteric and exotic life forms?
The crux of these manifestations is that fish don't want to be believed. their existence is not
is influenced by external acceptance. We believe that we see and have control over everything, that we have the complete view of the world but in the depths of the ocean, in the unconscious , and the past years of existence, there are the essences and the coincidences of which we are in the dark: fish that are not seen as well as rare and precious creatures. You think you know all that you are but you forget that in the most obscure and inseparable part of you, a snail fish that wags its tail and, despite the fact that it is hidden in a place unreachable by the mind, it releases the sensation of jelly and thoughts that are visceral. It is then easy to forget that distant dream, remained the child's innocence and was locked away in a bubble, which was nothing but the bowl of a fish and it is there, a fish viper that turns and turns in the sphere. It now and then shows its teeth; you perceive the gleams of its formless reflections because you have pulled down the shutter and you are in a dark room.
Accustoming the senses
Just when everything is quiet and dark, however, it is easier to detect light, sense motion, and hear rustling sounds; you just have to get your senses used to being in darkness. It takes a while and it is annoying initially, as you are left with the impression of being blind; but when you get used to it, you'll be able to overcome the darkness, you can even feed on it. Scales shimmer, bubbles bubble through the air, and nothing is transparent, but it all seems complete: an accurate picture that you could scratch a little more, still so long as you're alive and choose to understand ourselves a bit more.
Watching them as they swim
What do we do with the fish? Do we need to fish them and bring them up to the surface, or let them remain to lie in the ocean floor? Isn't it essential to protect their wildness and savagery and not force them into aquariums with sunlit lights by the sun, or serve them as the main course during the lunch of logic. In their irrational, ugly and abnormal nature lies their strength and the ability to clarify our nature. The fish should be watched and let ourselves be drawn into their routine and constant swimming. It's an act of meditation, a constant repetition that allows you to find out more about them in every moment. It is important to be aware of the flashes of light that flash in front of us and quickly disappear because they are intermittent lights that momentarily illuminate the darkness of our being. They can be used to look into the darkest corners of our existence.
Ocean Currents
The fish aren't stationary and move from you to me and vice versa. They have discovered a common current, which roughly passes everyone through and connects common beliefs and thoughts. Fish know who you are, but they don't judge you and therefore do not want limits to define them. OAI is their home but they're not afraid of occasionally being fished out and having their essence shine through like a bolt of lightning, or eureka like a ray energy that travels up the spine before exploding into the brain, similar to the electric flow of the current that runs through the light cables. The fish are similar to that, swimming, bobbing and bouncing in their flow The ocean is their home , and they are not afraid of the lack of walls or boundaries. On the contrary, it is in the sphericity of the globe that they best feel the freedom of being present today, not in the future as well as the freedom to roam forever, knowing of the fact that in all times, they'll be able to return because in the oceans of the unconscious the voyage is circular.
